Christmas Greetings 2025
In this short Christmas message, Pastor Doug shares a few reflections on the heart of Christmas and the value God places on our lives.
He begins with Mary, the mother of Jesus—an ordinary young woman given an extraordinary message: Do not be afraid. You are highly favored. God is with you. Her story reminds us that God often works through the humble and unexpected.
Pastor Doug then shares two treasured possessions—an old, worn quilted flannel jacket and a stained coffee mug that once belonged to his grandfather. Though unimpressive by the world’s standards, they are priceless because of who they belonged to.
Together, these reflections point to a powerful Christmas truth: our value is not found in our talents, achievements, or how we feel about ourselves. Our worth comes from belonging to God.
May this Christmas remind you that you are favored, loved, and never forgotten. God is with you.

A Day at Gabrielle's House
This Giving Tuesday—December 2, 2025—Lifted Hands is partnering with Gabrielle’s House, a children’s ministry in Botswana that we helped plant in 2010.
Gabrielle’s House shares the love of Jesus through Bible lessons, activities, meals, and clothing.
This year we are raising support for a special Christmas event for the children.
Your donation will help provide food, gifts, and resources that will make this season meaningful.
Thank you for giving and helping us bring hope to children in Botswana!

Encouragement for Resurrection Sunday!
On the first Resurrection Sunday, a woman named Mary was still seeking for her Lord, while the other disciples were behind closed doors.
Ultimately Jesus reveals Himself to her, but before she recognizes Him, she has to answer His very important question.
Mary is the first person to encounter the Risen Savior!
This video looks at her experience and teaches us a vital lesson regarding our relationship with Jesus. -
