LIFTED HANDS is a legally recognized 501C3 religious non-profit established in collaboration with Celebration Community Church – a church located in Bordentown New Jersey with over a 50-year history. Doug Linser serves as the President and Managing Director of Lifted Hands.
DOUG began serving as a church elder in 1988 and was ordained in 1989. From then till 2000 he served as assistant pastor while also working in business. He held positions of increasing responsibilities for the Alexander Group, Bell Atlantic, BOC, Rhone-Poulenc, and lastly Rhodia, a large French chemical company, where he was a Director of Human Resources reporting directly to a company president. In 2000, he stepped away from secular employment to be set in place as the full-time Senior Pastor.
In 2015, he transitioned the local responsibility of Celebration Community Church to Wayne Lebak, installing him as the Lead Local Pastor. Doug moved into the role of Missions Pastor and is charged with spreading the Gospel abroad, serving and strengthening churches in other countries, while focusing on ministering to and training up the next generation.
Over the years Doug has served the Lord abroad in France, Guatemala, El Salvador, Peru, Asia, Canada, Africa, Norway, Latvia, Estonia, and Germany, along with various places in the US. He has raised up several pastors and many deacons and deaconesses.
Doug and his wife MaryBeth have been happily married for 35 years and have 7 amazing kids (including our 2 son-in-laws).
